Hawaii-Five-O / I'll Melt With You / Jailhouse Rock

At themes night at the Corktown Ukulele Jam I brought these 3 out because I couldn't decide what I wanted to play. It was a stretch to mash these up but they have a common chord so here they are.

  1. Amber, this is so lovely to come here and hear you play. Lovely, lovely you.

With gratitude, I offer you a poem by Marge Piercy ....

    SIMPLE SONG

When we are going toward someone we say
    you are just like me
your thoughts are my brothers and sisters
    word matches word
    how easy to be together.

When we are leaving someone we say
    how strange you are
    we cannot communicate
    we can never agree
how hard, hard and weary to be together.

We are not different nor alike
but each strange in our leather bodies
sealed in skin and reaching out clumsy hands
    and loving is an act
    that cannot outlive
    the open hand
    the open eye
the door in the chest standing open.

[from Magi .... and I dunno why my profile continues to post me as "How I Serve" ..... very strange tech glitch]
